This Photo Tour is designed to bring to you a perfect blend of travel in the high mountain roads, Short Treks and abundance of opportunity to shoot local architecture and lifestyle. It would be a great combination of Travel and Photography, a must for any photographer who will take with him unforgettable images and life time experience, guided and mentored by renowned photographer T. NARAYAN Travel in comfortable vehicle and stay in premium accomodation in Narkanda and Sangla.
Main attraction of the Photo Tour in Narkanda is the early morning short Trek to Karena peak through dense forest from where one gets to see and photograph the most beautiful sunrise with all the three layers of the Himalayas visible, Outer, Middle and Inner at an height of 10,000ft. Visit to the Hatu temple has its own charm the beautiful temple has some awesome views, situated at 10,500ft.
Drive to Sangla valley in Kinnaur district takes you through some of the most dangerous motorable roads as described by the National Geographic Channel. In Sangla one gets to view and photograph beautiful landscapes, enjoy quite walks in the beautiful surroundings of flora and fauna including apple orchards, cedar trees, and fir trees to name a few. Snow clad mountains surround you and you get to see the magnificient Kinner Kailash. Short treks are highly recommended. The Baspa river flows through the valley. Chitkul is the last village with traditional wooden houses, potatoes grown here are world famous, beyond this village road leads you to the Indo-China border.
It is the beautiful landscapes, traditional life styles of the people, their culture, heritage, customs and traditions, everything that a photographer needs to create stunning images.
All through the trip there will be informal discussions with Photo menotor T. NARAYAN, participants works will be discussed during critique sessions which would help them to shoot great images.
Day 1 :
Take the Morning Delhi - Chandigarh Shatabdi Train. Chandigarh onwards to Narkanda by road in comfortable vehicles.
Reach Narkanda by late evening, early dinner and off to bed.
Day 2 :
Early wake call, by 5.30am short trek to Karena peak and watch the beautiful sunrise, spend some time at the peak and return by 8am. After breakfast visit Hatu Temple and drive on to Sangla valley in Kinnaur.
Reach Sangla by late evening and rest.
Day 3 :
Early wake call by 6.30am , explore the surroundings and after breafast drive on to Chitkul and explore the village know for its traditional houses/Temple and traditional people.
Return to base for lunch and rest. by evening explore the River Baspa with short walks and enjoy the surroundings. Evening Photography review session.
Day 4 :
After breakfast, Visit Batseri village and the famous temple at leisure.
Return to base by lunch. Evening explore the market visit the Kamru fort etc at leisure. Evening Photo crtique session and discussions on Photography by the Mentor T. NARAYAN
Day 5 :
Wake up at leisure, breakfast by 8.30 and depart for Narkanda. Reach Narkanda by early evening and explore.
Day 6 :
Early morning wake call, Go for the trek to watch the sunrise from Karena peak for the last time, return by 8am for breakfast and leave for Chandigarh for our train back to Delhi.

Rs.10,000 per person non-refundable deposit is required in order to guarantee hotel space. Final payment would be due in our hands on the day of departure. Payments have to be by check or Cash; no credit cards. In case of cancellation,* the following penalties would apply:
If you need to cancel your reservation, the cancellation would have to be in writing and would be valid as of the day of receipt in our office. at which time the following fees apply:
Since the number of days for the departure of the Photo Tour are less, Hence it has to be a CONFIRMED Bookings NO REFUND on Cancellation.
CANCELED EXPEDITIONS: In the event of insufficient tour sign-ups, Photo Routes Photography Tours & Workshops reserves the right to cancel any given trip. In that event 100% of moneys received will be returned. However, Photo Routes Photography Tours & Workshops is not responsible for expenses incurred by its customers.
